It is now a little over 50 years since the first James Bond movie, so I think it is time to tell my favorite quote from the series. It is actually from a James Bond film that isn’t part of the official series: “Never Say Never Again”:

My mind seems to be drifting more and more. Often I am not even sure where it is going, when it leaves me.
Few weeks ago, I took on a journey to the southern part of the Globe. (For me a long journey, since I live in the northern part of the World). I hoped my mind would go with me on the trip to the other end of the World. And I think it did.
I still haven’t figured out, if it is a problem with a wandering mind – and if it is: what to do about it.
I have just returned from a small trip to South Africa, where I have tried my first safari.
Though I only shoot with my camera, not all animals seemed too happy about the situation.

When I first saw the movie Watchmen, I was totally unprepared of what I was about to see – and therefor missed the concept.
So I had to see it a second time – and got blown away by the story … But still didn’t understand it.
I have now seen the film a couple of times more, and figure out more and more each time.
I have come to the conclusion this might be one of the most brilliant and intelligent and thought provoking movies ever made.
A warning: It all started with a cartoon, before it was made into a film, but it isn’t for children.
I wanted to write a blog post, but didn’t know what to write about … so here is a photo instead, from somewhere near the place I live. 🙂
