It has been a weekend of lifting heavy boxes and move them from one place to another. I have been helping a friend move this weekend, and with my normal habitat (an office) in mind, this is not the thing I normally do. So when writing these words, I have only very few places on my body, that doesn’t hurt.
One of the cars, used to move the boxes, got hurt a bit too. đ
I havenât written for some time, mostly because I havenât had anything to write about â which I find to be an adequate reason.
I have had a feeling of not being entirely âin synchronizationâ with the rest of the world. It is hard to describe the feeling, so I havenât written about it. I had some trouble figuring out, how to get in sync â and if I really wanted to. Lately I have become more in sync again. I donât think I have done something to get there, it just happened.
I still need some kind of Life Manual, because half the time, I feel a little lost when it comes to do the things, other people are expecting me to do (the rest of the time, I am totally lost). But that is not new. I have lived all my life, without any concept of how to behave. As I understand these things, this is just the definition of being a guy, so I probably donât need to worry. đ
Another year has gone, and once more it is time to look back. In my case: To look at the things I have written about in 2010.
I have not been busy, writing in 2010, so the retrospect is easy done.
2010 started with snow, and ended with snow. Throughout January, snow and cold weather was all I could write about.
By the start of February, I was really, really tired of snow. But still it came from above.
In February, I got another thing to write about: Finding my car on a train station, without license plates. Someone apparently wanted to drive in his car without paying the taxes, so he pinched my license plates instead of buying some. He was discovered few days later, but by then, I had bought new license plates for my car.
March came â and so did spring at last.
I did write some blog posts in April, but nothing noticeable.
In May, the winter was just a distant memory. Instead we got massive rain.
In June, it was summer in Denmark, finally. The kind of summer, where you can take âpostcard likeâ photos.
July was very hot! It was so hot, that I could not write about anything else.
August was a more normal Danish summer: Sun and rain. But still abnormal, because when it rained, it really poured down, and when the sun shined, it was so stunningly fantastic. No ordinary grey days, as I recall.
In September, I could write a few words about my trip to USA, where I went in the last days of August and beginning of September. It was my first trip to USA. I saw Washington, New York and a lot of security.
October came and went, with me just noticing the special date 10.10.10.
November had two events, I could write about. First I went on a small trip to the capital city of Germany: Berlin, where I had a fine time; though a bit cold and rainy.
Later the second event came: Snow! In winter time, we do get snow and cold weather in Denmark, but seldom so early.
December came; and with it, more snow and very cold weather.
That was it!

It is definitely winter in Denmark. Yesterday, my way home was on icy roads. But the colors were stunning: A landscape only in white and gray, with an evening sky in red and blue colors. Beautiful! Just a pity, I had to drive on those roads to see this sight.
Now there’s no doubt anymore. Winter has arrived in Denmark.
It is nice to look at and nice to walk around in. But it makes car travel more troublesome.
I just returned home after a week in Berlin. It was not the best time to visit the city: Berlin can be cold and rainy in November. But it is a fantastic city, and certainly worth a visit!
At 10 minutes past 10, a digital clock with date and time would show something like: 10.10.10 10:10.
You might wonder if this is useful to know. Not really, it is just numbers.

I do not write nearly as often as I should â or at least as I want to. The main reason for not writing is that I have so little to write about.
Also I have been on vacation without access to the Internet (I work with computers, so I actually like not having on-line access when I am travelling). This time I went on a trip to USA. I have never been there before, so I chose a trip with a guide who could tell me where to go and what to see. I saw Washington and New York â and everything was fantastic. The security checks everywhere takes a lot of time, but better safe than sorry. I saw the many checks as a part of the wonders of U.S. and therefor did not get all too bothered about them.
Someone might argue that Americans can be a bit superficial, with all the âHow are you?â without expecting any answer, other than maybe a âHow are you?â in return. But I actually liked it. We Danes might be just as nice to talk to and to be with, but the first impression is probably that we seem cold and distanced.
